The whole country is going gaga over the arrest of well known comedian Kiku Sharda by Haryana Police. Media is showing it everywhere with a label "comedian arrested for mimicking Gurmeet Ram Rahim". This label "comedian arrested for mimicking" is the reason that has raged a controversy across the nation, in the name of oppression of speech. In a country of young rebels, nobody would be spared from the criticism if they try to oppress their freedom. Remember the vile outburst of our rebels on #PornBan? In 2015, this intelligentsia of keyboard warriors entertained us with many serious yet funny debates on FoS, Net-Neutrality and Rising Intolerance, that turned social media into a war zone. But the unfortunate thing about this e-activism is; it is the perception-driven. Whatever our media displays, whatever our politicians say, becomes an irrefutable truth for these keyboard-warriors. So happened in the case of Kiku Sharda. After reading the fanciful theories proposed by mainstream media it was obvious for them to react as: WTF? Oppression of speech? Where is democracy? Are we living in middle-east? India is intolerant? And all that bla bla bla!
But the reactions which are not justified at all or far away from the issue are: Baba is fake, Baba has government with him, Baba has serious allegations against him, etc.
The first thing that I would like to tell everyone is that Baba hasn't filed the complaint [believe me he has no time for all this], one of his follower filed the complaint. Many questions arise over this complaint, let's look at them one by one.
Dera Followers got hurt because Kiku mimicked their Guru?
No, not at all. Followers got hurt but not because someone mimicked their Guru in some act, they got hurt as the act showed the false impression of not only their Guru but also of the organization Dera Sacha Sauda. Ok, right, acts are based on fictions, but that doesn't allow the character assassination of the man you are mimicking.
What makes it unpalatable?
When I was talking to some of my friends over this topic, I came to know they haven't even watched the act, they were arguing just because they read the news headlines "comedian arrested for mimicking". Dera followers don't give a damn if someone mimics their Guru, but showing things that are far away from reality in the act can't be simply digested. There were three things in that act that were not acceptable by Dera Followers at all:
2. Baba dancing with girls, touching them? Isn't that disgusting?
3. Baba asking for money from his followers with his Daan Peti [Donation Box]. But the matter of fact is, there isn't a single Daan-peti in Dera Sacha Sauda. Guruji himself works hard to earn his bread and same is advised to devotees. Guru Ji says "Har dharam me likha hai haq halal ki roti khao" (also shown in MSG 2 movie using four dialogues from four different religions).
Making fun of his looks? Okay.
Making fun of his singing? Okay.
Making fun of his dancing? Okay.
Showing completely false & utterly disgraceful things about him? Not Okay. Can never be okay.
How can those millions whose lives have transformed with his guidance can accept such profanity against their Guru?

Think for a moment, someone on national television shows your father begging (3rd pic) money from people. Will you be okay with that? Will you call it freedom of speech? May be you will be okay with that, but not all children are same. That's why the complaint was registered & Kiku was arrested.
Kiku is innocent, he didn't write the script?
Suppose you are smoking on a bus stand, cop charges you with fine for that, should you be spared because you didn't know it was illegal? No. The excuse "lack of knowledge" can't be accepted in all cases. If Kiku didn't know about Dera Sacha Sauda & how it works, he shouldn't have performed an act based on it. Well, he's not an ignorant. Remember Saroj Khan's controversy?
Why Kiku alone, script writer, channel director, everyone is involved right?
Yes, you're right this time. But on TV what we saw was only Kiku Sharda, who was performing the act, who knows who wrote the act? No way a common man can find out sitting in Haryana, that's why the complaint was filed against him only at that time.
Why didn't Gurmeet Ram Rahim (being a Saint) pardon Kiku after his apology?
As I already said Gurmeet Ram Rahim has nothing to do with this complaint thing, still he posted on twitter that he has no problem from Kiku if he has apologized.

Kiku apologized on his twitter account (which is not even verified), didn't reach to anyone till media showed it. It was quite late then.

That case is already closed. Gurmeet Ram Rahim won that case. Case was filed based on a dress that he was wearing [designed by one of a sevadar at Dera], that dress was said to resemble dress of Shri Gobind Singh Ji. But the court found those two dresses completely different, it is said that the case was brought up just to misguide Sikhs against him. And there are certain insights that point out the involvement of drug lords in this conspiracy against Ram Rahim as his positive influence on Punjab's youth was miffing their death business.
Hear the song again please, he says "You are the love charger" not "I am the love charger" where "You" represents Allah, Waheguru, God & Ram [Dera believes all are one, only name is different]. Guru Ji calls himself Insan, Saint, Fakir, Khaksaar but never God. Never.

Already discussed that mimic was never the problem, the media is focusing on this mimic thing just to engage more TRP, twitter wars etc, Media don't care about Kiku, Baba or anyone, they show only what people want to see & hear.

I have no idea how it relates to this incident. If you're so sure that he will end up in Jail soon, just keep calm & let the court decide. Kindly don't act like a self-styled judge and hurt his followers calling him a rapist. There is a huge difference b/w accused & convicted. Anyone can be accused in India, its a free country after all.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim can't be arrested because he is rich?
Can money save him from jail? While he is hated by so many in this country who don't even know anything about him except his name [may be not even full name]. Sorry man, I don't think money or anything else [except God] can save him when one of the major political parties of Haryana is openly against him and is funding a large bundle of money to media to defame you. We believe in the power of the judiciary. Money couldn't save Manu Sharma or Chautalas.

Narendra Modi literally copied "Maha Safai Abhiyan: Ho Parithvi Saaf, Mitte Rog Abhishap" program started by Dera Sacha Sauda in 2011 and gave zero credits to DSS, where is BJP's support? When MSG Movie was rejected by corrupt censor board, where was BJP's support? BJP has nothing to do with Dera Sacha Sauda or the judiciary. If their own MP can be arrested on court orders, this silly theory doesn't make any sense.
Let me make it clear, Dera-followers supported BJP in the last elections just because they signed the affidavits made by the dera in which the leaders agreed to work for society selflessly without corruption. DSS never asked for any political help & BJP never did, it's quite clear from the above examples. You will see all political parties again at DSS, Sirsa in next elections for sure. Complaint was filed easily against Kiku as BJP supports Gurmeet Ram Rahim?
I have already made it clear, there is no support from BJP. People are thinking that the complaint was filed easily against Kiku, ask Haryana Police why the case was registered after 4 days of program telecast? First two days police didn't listen to the followers then on the third day they looked into the matter, video of the act was shown to police after which police decided that it's quite serious, it's not just a mimic, then on 4th day complaint was registered. Kiku got arrested due to complaint of a "common man" not by support of Gurmeet Ram Rahim or BJP.
It's my humble request to all of you that if you have never been to Dera Sacha Sauda, if you don't know how it works, don't make your own theories based on false information by media or #BlindHaters, find out the truth for yourself. Dera Sacha Sauda is always open 24/7, visit it anytime, you are always welcome there, rehna free, khana free, jarurat pade to dawa free.
